Hi there, I'm Jonathan Williams, a filmmaker from Vancouver, Canada. Some of my friends called me out for not having seen many of the greatest and most important films ever made: films that defined genres, formed the vocabulary of pop culture, and provided all the best jokes for the Simpsons.
I am now getting caught up on what I've been missing out on, making my way through a self-made list of classics. I am chronicling my viewing experience on this blog and will be sharing all my reactions to and observations of each film, whether it be surprise, disappoint, or realization as I see how they relate to film history and pop culture.
